Author's Bio

Jenni B. Baker is a poet, book artist and small press editor based in Baltimore, MD . Her chapbook of poems, Comings / Goings, created by applying Oulipian constraints to Washington Post articles, was published by Dancing Girl Press. In 2017, the Maryland State Arts Council recognized her work with an Individual Artist Award in Poetry.

Her work has been featured on PBS NewsHour, The Huffington Post. The Chicago Trune, and BuzzFeed, among other publications. Recently, her poetry-inspired book arts work has been exhibited at the Pierogi Gallery in New York, NY; Prizer Arts & Letters Gallery in Austin, TX; and at Open Books in Seattle, WA.

She is the co-founder and projects director at Container, a small press dedicated to publishing artist's books, text objects and other writing in nontraditional forms, and is the former editor-in-chief of the Found Poetry Review (2011-2017).
