Author's Bio

Joanne Durham is the author of To Drink from a Wider Bowl, winner of the 2021 Sinclair Poetry Prize (Evening Street Press, 2022) and the chapbook, On Shifting Shoals, (Kelsay Books 2023). Her poetry appears in Poetry South, Poetry East, Calyx, Vox Populi, NC Literary Review, Whale Road Review, Banyan Review, Sky Island Journal, Chautauqua, Quartet, Still Points Arts Quarterly, Juniper, Gyroscope, Verse Virtual, Yellow Arrow, and numerous other journals and anthologies. She is an Associate Editor at Evening Street Press. A retired educator, she lives on the North Carolina coast, with the ocean as her backyard and muse.
