John High

John High has read his work internationally at the Venice Biennale, in Moscow, St. Petersburg, throughout the former Soviet Union and Eastern and Western Europe, and most recently in Hangzhou, Istanbul, London, and in Paris at the Paris Ivy Series for which his work was translated into French. He has taught creative writing and literature in Moscow at Moscow State University, in Istanbul as a visiting writer, at Kadir Has University, Hangzhou, at Global College at Zhejiang University, San Francisco State University and Montclair (as a visiting writer), and currently directs the MFA Creative Writing Program at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY.
