Author's Bio

Ken Wheatcroft-Pardue has published over 100 poems in such magazines as The Texas Observer, Borderlands, California Quarterly, Red River Review,  Concho River Review, and two anthologies of Texas poetry. His poetry book, What I Did Not Tell You, was published by Hungry Buzzard Press in 2020.

His short stories have appeared in Lynx Eye, Chiron Review The Texas Observer (on-line only), Concho River Review, SouthLit, Verdad, Amarillo Bay, and New Texas. In 2013, He was one of four finalists for the Texas Observer Short Story Contest. 

His essays have carried in The Texas Observer, The San Antonio Express-News, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Still Crazy, Nevertheless, Dallas Peace Times, NOTES Plus, English Journal, and The Fort Worth Weekly.
