Author's Bio

Kim Denning is a Latina poet from Texas who teaches at the University of Texas at Austin and prefers guitars loud with distortion. Her poetry has been featured in Last Stanza Poetry Journal, FERAL: A Journal of Poetry and Art, OpenDoor Magazine, Pareidolia Literary, the Valley International Poetry Festival’s Boundless Anthology 2021 and 2022, Adanna Literary Journal’s Women in Politics special edition, Versification Zine's December 2021 "Coming Home" issue; and will soon appear in Essential Voices: A COVID-19 Anthology. She also murdered romance by winning Versification Zine’s 2021 Kill Cupid contest.
