Kristin Beale is a native of Richmond, VA. Her nonfiction works tell the dramatic, relatable, and often humorous story of her life after a Jet Ski accident that paralyzed her from the mid-torso, down. She lives with her husband, Christopher, and dog, Achilles. She's a nationally-competing wheelchair fencer, 14-time marathon finisher, and an avid reader of books.
