Author's Bio

Kurt is a writer, publisher, translator, and mathematician. His most recent book is Halfway Between Everywhere, a collection of poems, essays, and translations. Kurt is a member of The American Mathematical Society, the Graphic Artists Guild, and the American Literary Translators Association. He currently has an SF novel and third collection of poetry in production.

Kurt is the founder of Pierian Springs Press, an independent publishing company (CLMP, ALLi, AG, ALTA, & IBPA member) that engages literary authors of poetry, novels, short fiction, and both general and academic creative non-fiction with a focus on memoir and essays. The press’s distribution is global. They also produce audiobooks, literary translations, and original and classical works in both English and native language editions.
