Larkin Higgins

Larkin Higgins (she/her) is a poet & hybrid writer whose poetic & cross-genre work can be found in Diagram, Eleven Eleven, Notre Dame Review, Chant de la Sirène The Journal, SummerStock, Otoliths, & others. Mindmade Books published her Of Traverse and Template ​​​​​​(2013) and with Dusie Press she has two chapbooks, Of Materials, Implements (2012) and  c o m b - i n g  m i n e - i n g s (2015); additionally, a broadside titled "Soil Culture, Frankenstein—Grafted" (Dusie). Her poems are also included among anthologies published by University of Iowa Press, Tebot Bach, & more.

Higgins has created artist books in forms informing her poetry within, such as, in an attempt to empty the square (Special Collections, Otis Library). Also interested in how written/poetic text can be created from performative directions/instructions/constraints, her pieces in this realm have been published in the anthology EMERGENCY INDEX: An Annual Document of Performance Practice, Vol. 4 (2015) and Vol. 5 (2016), Ugly Duckling Presse, Brooklyn, NY and also Propositional Attitudes: What Do We Do Now?, Golden Spike Press (2018).
