Author's Bio

I am winner of the Alligator Juniper National Fiction Award and have been nominated twice for the Pushcart Prize. My book of stories WORLD GONE MISSING won the Nautilus Fiction Silver Medal. My stories and essay appear in McSweeny's Alta Journal, The Rumpus, the Los Angeles Review and elsewhere. I'm a member of the Writers Grotto in San Francisco and co-founder of Babylon Salon, a long-running literary series in the city.
