My name is Leah Lubin and I am an author and artist. I was born in Israel, grew up in England, and now I make my home in Woodside, California. I completed my first novel, Between Two Worlds, along with nine poetry books, The Secret Heart, I Live Under the Towering Redwoods, Poems about the Stars, Everyday Secrets, Ken Kesey’s First Night at the Beat Museum, Jerry Garcia in Heaven Misses Us Too, and Mad Respect. The poetry compilations, Continent of Light (2011), and World of Change (2014) include my work.
My short story, An Artist’s Fairytale, first appeared in Detail, A Journal of Art Criticism, published by the Women’s Caucus for Art, in September 1997.
In 1998, the Leonardo Electronic Almanac magazine published my short story, I Paint the Cosmos. The April, July, and November 2000 issues contained the three part series titled An Artist's View of Space Science.
I have also written a monthly column in CoastViews Magazine titled A Personal View covering my viewpoint on a variety of subjects.
America’s only national British newspaper, Union Jack, recently published two of my new articles.
