Lisa Lanser Rose (aka. Elisabeth Rose) is a graduate of Penn State University's MFA program. She's the author of the memoir For the Love of a Dog (2001 Harmony Books) and the novel, Body Sharers (1993 Rutgers University Press), which was a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Foundation Award for Best First Novel. Publications and honors include winner of the 2016 The Briar Cliff Review Nonfiction Award, winner of the 2013 The Florida Review Editor’s Award, finalist for the 2014 Frank McCourt Memoir Prize, and a 2015 Best American Essay Notable Essay. She blogs with awesome women at TheGloriaSirens.com.
