Featured on NPR, in New York Times and USA Today. Author of 13 books in 3 genres and creator of the "How to Plan, Write, and Develop a Book" (TM) workshops and classes. Instructor at The Loft Literary Center, the Hudson Valley Writers' Center, UNH New Hampshire Writer's Project, Madeline Island School of the Arts. Former syndicated columnist for the Los Angeles Times with weekly columns in 86 newspapers. Over 200 published essays, short stories, poems, columns, articles in Boston Globe, Pastel Journal, Food & Wine, American Health, American Artist, various literary journals, and online publications. International writing coach and freelance editor since 1990.
