Author's Bio

Mia Herman is a Jewish writer and editor living in New York. She is the author of the poetry chapbook UNTIL THE END OF TIME (Alien Buddha Press, 2023). Mia holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Hofstra University and her work has appeared in dozens of publications including Barren Magazine, Bellevue Literary Review, F(r)iction, Stanchion, Third Coast, and Variant Lit, among others. Awards for her writing include an Honorable Mention in the Tom Howard/John H. Reid Fiction & Essay Contest, a Pushcart Prize 2025 nomination, three nominations for the Best of the Net, and a finalist placing for the Frontier Poetry New Voices Fellowship.
