Author's Bio

As a published poet and writer, my work is deeply influenced by the natural world and the Transcendentalist ideals of Thoreau, Emerson, and Whitman, —drawing inspiration from their perspectives on freedom, individualism, and the interconnectedness of all things —yet resonating with the spirit of Edward Abbey to embrace a more rugged and outspoken approach to environmentalism and wilderness advocacy. A writing group sharing a similar perspective would be bent on capturing the beauty of nature, while also reflecting on the importance of preserving it for future generations.
