Author's Bio

Mimi Plevin-Foust has worn many hats in addition to her lifelong commitment to writing, including work as a glass artist, bartender, documentary film producer, and career consultant. Her poetry, screenplays and articles have been published by Carve Magazine, LearnVest/Forbes.com, Fourteen Hills, POZ Magazine, Sanskrit Literary-Arts Magazine, SCRIPT and more. Mimi received an M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from NYU and recently won the Gordon Square Review Poetry Contest. She’s produced or associate produced documentaries aired on PBS, screened at many film festivals, and distributed nationwide. She shares a 105-year-old home in Cleveland with assorted Airbnb guests as well as her husband, daughter, and cats.
