Author's Bio

Nancy Christie is the award-winning author of ten books, including Reinventing Rita, Moving Maggie and Finding Fran (the first three novels in her Midlife Moxie Novel Series), four short story collections, two books for writers and an essay collection.

Christie’s short stories have appeared in numerous literary publications including The Saturday Evening Post, Commuter Lit, and Goat’s Milk Magazine.

The host of the Living the Writing Life podcast and founder of the annual "Midlife Moxie" Day and "Celebrate Short Fiction" Day, Christie teaches writing workshops at conferences, libraries, and schools. She is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), the Women’s Fiction Writers Association (WFWA), and the Florida Writers Association (FWA).
