Author's Bio

Nick Demske lives in Racine Wisconsin and works there at the Racine Public Library. His self-titled manuscript was chosen by Joyelle McSweeney for the Fence Modern Poets Series Award and published by Fence Books in 2010. He also had a chapbook published in 2012 called "Skeetly Deetly Deet" (Strange Cage Press). In 2010, he was included as one of the 10 debut poets by Poets and Writers Magazine. He co-founded and ran the BONK! Poetry and Music series in Racine for 12 years, which hosted events every month starting in 2008  (http://bonkperformanceseries.wordpress.com/).
