Author's Bio

Nick Purdon is a South African poet and writer. His debut collection of powerful emotionally driven poetry, The Road-Shaped Heart, was published by Modern History Press (World Voices) in March 2011. A former heroin addict, he now dedicates his life to helping others through the darkness of addiction, in counselling work and motivational speaking, intent on spreading a message of hope, courage and inspiration.
