Author's Bio

Nicole Jean (Nic) Turner is a writer from New England with an affinity for vignettes, napping outdoors, and conversations that confront the human condition. She writes in cursive to hide the butchered spelling that would otherwise raise suspicion about her master’s degree in writing.

Turner first emerged from the spoken word poetry community of Syracuse, New York, in 2012. Since then, she has strung literary heartstrings from the Pacific Northwest to New England, connecting stages, pages, and workshop spaces with a devoted community of transgressive writers and artists.
