Author's Bio

Paul E Nelson founded the Cascadia Poetics Lab in 1993 & the Cascadia Poetry Festival in 2012, wrote: American Sentences, A Time Before Slaughter and is Co-Editor of Make It True: Poetry From Cascadia, 56 Days of August: Poetry Postcards, Make It True meets Medusario and the Samthology:Tribute to Sam Hamill. His book of interviews taken from 16 of his 600+ interviews is: American Prophets (Interviews 1994-2012.) Hear interviews at his blog: PaulENelson.com and his new podcast Cascadian Prophets. Winner of the 2015 Robin Blaser Award, given my the Capilano Review, he was a professional radio broadcaster (announcer/interviewer) for 26 years and lives with his partner Bhakti Watts and daughter Ella in the TUX woo' kwib/Duwamish watershed of the Cascadia bioregion.
