Author's Bio

Paula Huston is the author of two novels and seven works of spiritual nonfiction. A National Endowment of the Arts Fellow in Creative Writing, she taught creative nonfiction for Seattle Pacific University's MFA program and fiction writing for the California State University Consortium MFA. Her stories and essays have been honored by Best American Short Stories and The Best Spiritual Writing anthologies. A Camaldolese Benedictine oblate (lay associate of a monastic community), she lives with her husband on four acres on the Central Coast of California.
