Author's Bio

Peggy Heinrich’s poetry has appeared in many magazines and in her seven books of poetry. Most recent is Forward Moving Shadows, her highly praised tanka memoir with photographs by John Bolivar, a companion piece to Peeling an Orange, a collection of her haiku with seasonal photo-graphs by Bolivar. An award-winning poet, her longer poems are collected in A Minefield of Etceteras. Born and raised in New York City and a long-time resident of Connecticut, she moved to Santa Cruz, California, in 2006 to be closer to her two West Coast daughters, Nicole (aka Ellen) and Jean. She is also an active dowser and Reconnective healer.
