Author's Bio

Peter Meinke has been writer-in-residence--in both fiction and poetry--at many colleges and universities, including Davidson, Hamilton, Hawaii, Emory, UNC/Greensboro, and others. In 2003-05 he held the Darden Chair at Old Dominion, and in 2008 he was Distinguished Poet at Wichita State. He was appointed the first ever Poet Laureate of St. Petersburg (2009-2015); he is now Poet Laureate of Florida (2015-2018).
