Author's Bio

I fell in love with the rhythm and flow of words at an early age. Publication began with a single poem and exploded into articles for newspapers and national magazines. This was followed by a wacky humorous midlife book of poems (Hot and Bothered By It), a poem book based on Anne Frank's diary (Being Frank with Anne), and a book of poems and essays based on the Bible (Twelve is for More than Doughnuts). Currently working on a book of monologues, a book of YA humorous high school stories and marketing a co-written YA suspense titled, Inkblot. (co-author- Nancy Naigle) I've spoken on three college campuses, given poetry workshops in four cities, hosted open mic nights and served twice on a literary panel at an annual literary festival. I work with teens in a writing club and enjoy inspiring others.
