Author's Bio

I am a poet and fiction writer. REcent fiction has appeared in Ragazine, and poems are forthcoming in Voices in Italian Americana. My novel, Tender Warriots (1986, Firebrand) is still in print. A new chilren's books, Stata Ziti, Josie, and a new collection of poems for adult readers, A Woman Unknown in Her Bones, will be published in 2014 by Bordighera Books. Other books of poems include How to Sing to a Dago. (1996), Gambler's Daughter, (2001, and The Brother Inside Me (20080, all by Guernica Editions. Teeny Tiny Tino's Fishing Story, her first children's books, was published by Bordighera Books, 2008.
