Author's Bio

Rebecca Jamieson (she/her) is the founder of Contemplate Create, where she teaches writing workshops with a mindfulness lens. She is also the Nonfiction Editor for Isele magazine. Rebecca's writing has appeared in various publications, including Entropy, Hunger Mountain, Mid-American Review, The Offing, Rattle, and Stirring. Her chapbook of poetry, The Body of All Things, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2017. Rebecca holds an MFA in Writing & Publishing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, where she founded and taught in the enrichment writing program. She has also taught writing workshops through Write Around Portland, The Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, The Northwest Narrative Medicine Conference, and the M.Ed. programs at The Institute for Educational Studies. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin.
