R.F. Mechelke was nominated for The Best American Mystery and Suspense Stories series. He is a candidate for an MFA in Creative Writing at Queens University of Charlotte, and holds a B.S. from Marquette University and an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University. His short stories have appeared in or are forthcoming in the Willows Wept Review, Pennsylvania Literary Review,  Passengers Journal, October Hill Magazine, American Writers Review, Loch Raven Review, Sci Phi Journal, Lowestoft Chronicle, MoonPark Review, Blue Lake Review, The Main Street Rag and elsewhere.
