Rita Anderson

I am an award-winning poet & playwright living in Austin. I hold an MFA Poetry and an MA Playwriting, and my work has been internationally published. Please check my website for a visual CV under "photo gallery" at www.rita-anderson.com I was poetry editor of the literary journal at University of New Orleans, and both of my poetry books--The Entropy of Rocketman (Finishing Line Press 2016), and Watched Pots (A Lovesong to Motherhood)--have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Over 100 of my poems have published in literary journals and anthologies to include the Spoon River Poetry Review, EVENT Magazine (British Columbia), Cahoodaloodaling, and in the upcoming, international anthologies: Waves: A Confluence of Voices, an AROHO (A Room of Her Own) Foundation Anthology, Magnum Opus, and Endlessly Rocking (A Tribute to Walt Whitman, on His 200th Birthday).
