Author's Bio

Robert Croll is an artist and literary translator originally from Asheville, North Carolina. He graduated from Amherst College in 2016 with a degree in Architectural Studies and Spanish and is currently based in Chicago, IL. As a translator, his focus is on contemporary Latin American literature; he has worked on texts by such authors as Ricardo Piglia, Hebe Uhart, Julio Cortázar, Gustavo Roldán, Javier Sinay, and Juan Carlos Onetti.

His extra-literary activities include photography, cooking, long-distance hiking, and musical composition/performance; he is currently at work planning a short documentary about the painter Stanely Lewis.
