Robert Joe Stout

Fiction Writer, Poet

Author's Bio

As a journalist, fiction writer and poet my current focus is on Mexico and the relationships between the people of Mexico and those of the United States. Two of my three novels and the creative nonfiction The Blood of the Serpent: Mexican Lives detail these interworkings factually and impressionistically. After careers as a journalist, government accountant and theater director/actor I currently live in Oaxaca in southern Mexico. Book descriptions and many of my essays and short fiction pieces can be found in my blog and website.
