Ron A. Kalman

Ron A. Kalman was born in Israel to parents who fled Budapest during the Hungarian Uprising of 1956. He spent much of his early childhood moving about (from Haifa to Paris to Boulder) before settling in the Boston area. His poems, along with his translations of the famous Hungarian poet Attila József, have appeared in The Exquisite Corpse Annual, Boston Literary Magazine, Ibbetson Street, The Somerville Times, and numerous other publications. His poetry has been translated, published in more than a half-dozen countries and been included in an anthology of world poets. His chapbook, Appearance of the Sun, is available from Main Street Rag Publishing.
