Author's Bio

Saddiq Dzukogi was born in Minna, Nigeria. He is the author of Your Crib, My Qibla (University of Nebraska Press, 2021), and the chapbook, Inside the Flower Room a selection of the New Generation African Poets Chapbook series. His poems have appeared in Prairie SchoonerKenyon ReviewWorld Literature TodayOxford PoetryOxford Review of BooksSoutheast Review, and others. He is currently a PhD student in English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he received the Vreeland Prize for Poetry.
