Sandra Claire Foushee

Poet and musician, Sandra Claire Foushee lives on the Oregon coast working from principles of the Golden Mean with Alwyn Scott Turner. She has taught creative writing, women's literature, mythology, Native American literature, and English literature at Tillamook Bay Community College; was a Poet in the Schools in Colorado and Oregon; a scholar for "Let's Talk About It," Oregon Committee for the Humanities; gives creative writing workshops in the Northwest; and is the editor of Poetry & Prose. She has given readings at The Loft (Minneapolis), The Tattered Cover (Denver), Anchorage Arts Fair (Alaska), Poor Richard's Feed and Read (Colorado Springs), Neahkahnie Institute (Manzanita, OR), The River Theater (Astoria, OR).
