Author's Bio

Scott Stein is author of the novels The Great American Deception (Tiny Fox Press, 2020), Mean Martin Manning (ENC Press, 2007), and Lost (self-published, 2000). He has published short satire and fiction in The Oxford University Press Humor Reader, McSweeney's, National Review, Shale, The G.W. Review, Liberty, and Art Times, and his reviews and essays have appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Reason, Liberty, and other places. A professor of English at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Scott teaches Fiction Writing, Writing Humor and Comedy, Composition and Rhetoric, Major Authors: Franz Kafka, Superheroes in America, and Strange Fiction. He is also the director of the Drexel Publishing Group and founding editor of Write Now Philly. His MFA and BA are from the University of Miami and his MA is from New York University.
