Shutta Crum

Shutta Crum is an award-winning poet and children’s book writer. In addition to her three chapbooks of poetry, her poems for adults have appeared in numerous small press publications and literary journals since the 1970s. A Pushcart nominee, her works include poetry in Ann Arbor (W)rites, Stoneboat, Typehouse, Acumen, Calyx, Mom Egg Review and Boulevard. Over the years, she has placed in the top three finalists in several of the Current Magazine poetry competitions, and was award first place in 2004. She has earned 8 Royal Palm Literary awards, and was an honorable mention for the Robinson Jeffers Prize.  (2024)  She also has several children’s books written in verse published by major publishers, including THUNDER-BOOMER!
