Under The Gulf Coast Sun, Skip's new adult, midcentury historical romance will be published by Stoney Creek Publishing in Spring of 2025.

Skip's writing has appeared in Asylum Annual, Central Park, and multiple micro-press literary 'zines. Translations from German into English were published in Dimension, Contemporary German Arts and Letters, and the book Dimensions. For his Masters in Germanic Languages Skip translated Wolfgang Hilbig's "Die Weiber" into English during 1990 to 1991 when he lived in Berlin. Skip briefly met Hilbig at a German writers conference in Dresden at that time.

Skip is working on another novel. He is also building an airplane that will be the basis of a work of non-fiction.
