A widow & cancer survivor, Stacey Z Lawrence is a veteran public high school teacher of Poetry & English. Her poetry was short-listed for the Fish Prize in 2019/2021 & nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2022. Stacey is a poet for Writing the Land, a collaboration between poets & protected land. Stacey's first collection of poems was released to advanced acclaim in August 2021 through Finishing Line Press.
