Author's Bio

Stephen Corey is the author of ten poetry collections, most recently "There Is No Finished World" (White Pine Press), and of the forthcoming essay collection, "Startled at the Big Sound" (Mercer University Press, early 2017). He is the editor of "The Georgia Review," with which he has worked since 1983. His poems, essays, reviews, and articles have appeared in a wide range of periodicals since the late 1970s; many of these works have been reprinted in anthologies and textbooks. He has read his work, lectured, and taught short-term classes/workshops across the United States and served as a judge on several state arts council panels and for various press competitions.
