Author's Bio

Toni Margarita Plummer has published short fiction in The Acentos Review, Kweli, Label Me Latina/o, PALABRA, Origins Journal, and River River, and she is a contributor to the anthologies Wise Latinas: Writers on Higher Education, All about Skin: Short Fiction by Women of Color, Latina Outsiders Remaking Latina Identity, and the forthcoming East of East: The Making of Greater El Monte. Plummer attended the University of Notre Dame and the Master of Professional Writing Program at the University of Southern California. After working in book publishing in New York City for a decade, she now freelance edits.
