Author's Bio

Wawa is a Hong Kong poet now based in San Francisco, CA. She is the author of Pei Pei the Monkey King (Tinfish Press, 2016), Anna and Anna (Finishing Line Press, 2018). Some of her work can also be found in Guernica Daily, The MarginsHawai'i Review, Apogee Journal, and the anthology Hong Kong 20/20: Reflections on a Borrowed Place. She is interested in decolonized poetry, non-industrialized poetry, transnational poetry, and interdisciplinary (medium-pure) poetry. She holds degrees in philosophy from Hong Kong and Europe, and has worked as art and design editor, farmer, cowherd, and dishwasher.
