Will Dowd is a Boston-based writer and artist. His first collection of essays, Areas of Fog, was named a Massachusetts Book Awards Nonfiction “Must Read.” His poetry, prose, and art have appeared in The Washington PostThe Boston GlobeWriter’s Digest, NPR, The Rialto, Poets & Writers online, Tin House online, LitHub, Post Road Magazine, 32 Poems, Hippocampus, and elsewhere. He earned a Master’s of Science from MIT and a Master’s of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from New York University, where he was a national Jacob K. Javits Fellow in Poetry.
