Editorial Focus
Better Than Starbucks features outstanding poetry and fiction in many genres and many voices. Poetry includes free verse, haiku, formal poetry, prose poetry, form poetry, experimental poetry, sentimental poetry, and international poetry. Fiction ranges from flash or micro to full length. Creative nonfiction is accepted, as are interviews with a poet, author, or artist. Occasional art (online or print cover) is taken. There are 100 authors per issue. They offer semi-pro payment for 12 featured poems (or stories) per issue.
