Editorial Focus
Litmosphere—formerly home for Charlotte Lit’s Lit/South Awards winners and finalists—is now an open submission, paying online literary and art journal, published twice a year. Submissions of art, flash (fiction and nonfiction up to 500 words), poetry, and short prose (fiction and literary nonfiction up to 5,000 words) are accepted in January for the Spring issue and in July for the Fall issue. The journal is free to read, and there is no fee to submit.
Tips From the Editor
Litmosphere is for lovers of image and metaphor, writers as curious about inner experience as driving narrative. For poetry and flash, the journal showcases multiple pieces from each contributor; submit pieces that speak to each other in some way. For short fiction and literary nonfiction, anything goes, but standalone pieces are encouraged rather than excerpts. See full guidelines for details.
