Editorial Focus

An international art and literature magazine that features witty, irreverant, and moving poetry and fiction from established and up-and-coming authors, as well as interviews with the likes of Billy Collins, Eimear McBride, and DBC Pierre. Ceased publication in March 2023 but continues to sell back issues.

Tips From the Editor

The Moth ceased publication in March 2023 but continues to run four international literary prizes annually for unpublished work: The Moth Short Story Prize, The Moth Nature Writing Prize, The Moth Poetry Prize (one of the biggest in the world for a single unpublished poem) and The Caterpillar Poetry Prize (for adults writing for children). Winning stories and poems are published in the Irish Times online.
