Portsmouth Book & Bar is a full service restaurant, bar, and live entertainment venue tucked inside a bookstore in the heart of downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The kitchen offers a full menu and the bar has a wide selection of signature cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, and tea. Live entertainment includes regional music acts, poetry readings, comedy, open mic nights, and a variety of community events. Located in Portsmouth’s stately one-hundred-and-fifty-year-old customs house, Book & Bar also carries more than ten thousand new and used books, including best-sellers and hidden gems.
