Funding/Employment Opportunities: 

The program offers partial funding. The department of World Languages & Literature offers merit scholarships of up to 50 percent of full-time tuition to MFA in Literary Translation applicants.

Other Features: 

The two-semester curriculum includes courses in translation history and theory, language-specific workshops, and advanced literary study. The program includes a specially designed course in English style for translators.

The program currently accepts students translating from Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Ancient Greek, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Persian, Spanish, or Turkish into English.
