The program offers limited scholarships and federal financial aid.
The program’s leadership includes graduate program director Dr. Jen McClanaghan and founding director Ann Hood.
Visiting faculty from a variety of genres join each residency as well as publishers, agents, and editors. Students attend two eight-day residencies each year, in January and June, in Newport, Rhode Island.
The application deadline is November 15 to start with the January residency and March 1 for the June residency. If you are interested in applying after the deadline, contact Amanda Doctor, senior assistant director of admissions.
