Author's Bio

Jennifer Saunders is the author of Tumor Moon, winner of the 2024 Concrete Wolf Chapbook Contest and forthcoming from Concrete Moon in March, 2025. Her chapbook Self-Portrait with Housewife (Tebot Bach, 2019) was winner of the 2017 Clockwise Chapbook Contest. Her poem "Crosswalk" was awarded the 2020 Gregory O'Donoghue International Poetry Prize and appeared in Southword. Her poetry and reviews have appeared in The Georgia Review, Poet Lore, Salamander, Spillway, and elsewhere and has earned nominations for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and the Orison Anthology. Jennifer also co-edited the anthology Stained: an anthology of writing about menstruation (Querencia Press, 2023). She holds an MFA from Pacific University and in the winters she teaches skating at a hockey school in Bern, Switzerland, where she lives with her family. Author photo credit: Denise O'Gorman.
