Editorial Focus
The press looks for works that narrate stories in well written prose and poetic forms, demonstrating human experience in all kinds of circumstances. The editors find delight in such things as vivid images, strong similes, and playful use of metaphor.
Each genre (fiction, nonfiction, drama, poetry, and art) has its own webpage with specific submissions guidelines, so be certain to read the correct page for the correct information.
Tips From the Editor
We do not accept abstract poetry or sudden fiction because we are looking for a complete arc of experience—something that makes us think, but also draws us deeper. All drama should be submitted in the standard format specified on our website. When in doubt, ask us at choeofpleirnpress@gmail.com.
