Editorial Focus

Thirty West Publishing House is open to many literary themes and poetic forms and styles. Never really pigeonholed themselves to one market. They enjoy the succinct, the startling, and the sublime. Some humor will keep them turning pages. They will root for intimate characters and their relationships with whomever/whatever. Lastly, they are proud to publish a majority of debut authors in any capacity.

Tips From the Editor

We host our Wavelengths Chapbook Contest yearly in the winter and spring months. Normally read subs in ascending order, so the earlier you submit, the quicker the response.

We host our open manuscript period in the summer. 2024 is currently being filled in. If you have a project that you're still working on, send us a proposal for a later release. Above all else, make sure we won't forget your name.

Our Substack newsletter, Afterimages, is always open for creative nonfiction, essays, and book reviews.
